LE PROCHAIN ALBUM DES U2 SERA DANS LES BACS FIN OCTOBRE.
Cela fait deux ans que l’on attend la bonne nouvelle. Le dernier album des U2, comme une vendange tardive, bien maturée, annoncé à tort à plusieurs reprises, sortira finalement fin octobre 2014. Le titre sera certainement "Songs Of Ascent."
De plus, un single inédit en hommage à Nelson Mandela, écrit pour la BO du biopic de l'ex-président sud-africain intitulé "Long Walk to Freedom" est déjà dans les tuyaux.
Un opus produit par Barclay, qui annonce le retour de la bande à Bono, et pas seulement dans les bacs… mais aussi en tournée 2015, dès septembre. C’est du lourd, à ne pas louper ! JD pour LTC LIve.

LTC MUSIQUES DU MONDE : THE BUENA VISTA SOCIAL CLUB est en Live sur ARTE.
"The Buena Vista Social Club" est en concert ce soir à 22h25, pendant 101 min (Rediffusion dimanche 17 août 2014, à 01h25), sur Arte. Compay Segundo, Ruben Gonzalez, Ibrahim Ferrer, Omara Portuondo, Eliades Ochoa, et toute "la Compagnie" de la Salsa Cubaine, sont filmés par Wim Wenders ; une production signée Ry Cooder. 
Voici l'histoire merveilleuse de musiciens cubains extraordinaires, oubliés, et revenus au premier plan de la Scène MuZiKale, par la grâce d'un disque en or "Buena Vista Social Club" (publié en 1996) et de ce superbe documentaire, tourné en 1998, diffusé ce soir sur Arte (avec plein d'extraits de concerts et d'enregistrements en studio, et d'interviews inédits pour l'époque). C’est la Salsa-Social-Solidaire, Traditionnelle, Campagnarde et Cubaine, entre Pros et Impros, que du Bonheur !
